  Toni Anicic: Your position is not absolute. It depends on many factors, some of which fall under Google's personalization of search results for given user and given query. This is why you'll see your ranking position in Google Webmaster Tools for a given query as "average ranking position", meaning where you were on average in a given time period for a given query. ;
  
  Yes, your position can vary extremely. For you, you could be 1st result, and for me, you could be on page 10. Unless you're vital result for given query in which case your average position will be 1.0.
