Is the "Spam Score" of Moz really matters?

Is the "Spam Score" of Moz really matters? Is taking a backlink from high Spam Score website is bad? What if I create a backlink on a website of 61% Spam Score but PA and DA are good? (PA:52 and DA:63) What your experience regarding Moz Spam Score metric? What you`ve experienced? Please answer this question based on your personal experience. Many says don`t go after the website if Spam Score is greater than 5%.

    Then, i would say it depends on the site. My opinion is that the spam score is only an indicator, but you have to check the site manually and use your best judgement.

  • George G.: this is what i said in the comment above. once you read how they determine the spam score, you can have an idea of the elements that are or are not present in a website. It can not tell you if the site is good or bad for link placements, you have to determine that yourself by looking at the site, its content quality, traffic, links etc.
