Internal links "limitation" to make Google effectively crawl all links

From your perspective guys - what is the current internal links "limitation" to make Google bot effectively crawl all the links? I know this is an resultant of text to html ratio too but from your perspective - is the rule of up to 100 internal links per page still live or not? Things to consider before answer - Yes, sitemap.xml is available and it contains all important products and yes there is proper, well prepared categories structure to cover as much user intent as it is possible (based on keyword research and business knowledge).

  • George G.: you dont need 100 links per page. you should focus the link juice to your hub pages. and not to all hub pages but rather to the related hub pages only. e.g from a product page you should link to the parent category, the home, several related products and thats about it.
  • MichaÅ‚ PÄ™kaÅ‚a: My gut feelings about no. of internal links: - there`s no explicit limit - if it makes sense to an ordinary user, it shouldn`t be questioned by Google - Google takes the interaction with the site (if a user comes back to SERP quickly) as more important than artificial "on-page" metrics we invent to summarise our observations.
