  • Perry Bernard: Those two schema types only need to live on the home page.

  • Muhammad Abdullah: Perry Bernard Appreciated. One thing more Sir, I haven`t any address and phone number for now. If I leave the address and phone number field empty in schema code, will it show error or not??? or should i remove those fields for now???

  • Perry Bernard: Muhammad Abdullah no that’s fine. Just add those lines when you have them.

  • Muhammad Abdullah: Perry Bernard Thank you so much for your quick and informative response. As per your recommendations, i will add those schemas only on the homepage and will delete the address and phone number field from the schema code.

And also I will add service schema on service pages. Richard Hearne

  • Richard Hearne: They can live on every page no problem. If you use @graph feature you would have them on every page regardless.

  • Richard Hearne: If you know how to set up schema and use the right IDs and URIs that article is not applicable.

  • Richard Hearne: Every Yoast WP site using Yoast schema has Organization on every page.

  • Muhammad Abdullah: Richard Hearne I got you sir

  • Richard Hearne: The trick here is to ensure that if Org is on every page that the @id points to the homepage. If you`re a beginner then this wont be trivial, but if you copy who it is output on most WordPress sites you will give yourself a very good foundation. The guys who built that are exceptionally talented in building schema graphs.

  • Muhammad Abdullah: Richard Hearne the website is built on laravel. I never messed up with schemas robot.txt sitemap as it was being maintained by yoast itself. But for this case, i am doing wrestling with custom codes for schemas, open graphs etc. that`s why i am confused

  • Richard Hearne: Look for a laravel package maybe? But take care - if you`re not sure of how to build schema in JSON then maybe best to just put Organization on your homepage only to be safe.

  • Muhammad Abdullah: But now I have added schemas on all the pages for now

  • Richard Hearne: If you want to post the schema here, even if you hide the domain, I`m happy to look it over for you.

  • Brenda Malone: Muhammad Abdullah, you may find a ton of useful information on SchemaApp`s Blog pages. It provides a lot of advice, even if you do not use their SchemaApp (which I do like, but is very expensive.)https://www.schemaapp.com/blog/

  • Muhammad Abdullah: Brenda Malone thanks for your response. I will go through it.

  • John Albin: Schema types should be unique to each page. However, you are unlikely to receive a penalty for the occasional overlapping schema such as Organization.

  • Richard Hearne: John Albin I`ll counter that and say schema types should have unique *identifiers*. They can live happily on multiple pages so long as they respect and retain their unique identifiers on those pages.

  • John Albin: Richard Hearne Hmm, I am curious if you can elaborate on what you mean by unique identifiers?
