How to make a guest post?

Ive got a dumb seo question, when you make a guest post, it means you should write an article only for another website? or it means another website takes one of your articles and copy it in their page, putting a link to the original at the end?. i hope it was clear. thank you

  • Stockbridge Truslow: It depends upon the site, really. Most sites are probably going to want original content. That said, there`s nothing technically wrong with syndicated content (if it`s set up and managed properly), so it doesn`t necessarily mean that a reprinted post will have no value for you (or for the site you`re posting it on).
  • Josu Sánchez Arnalda: Stockbridge Truslow thanks
  • Michael Martinez: As someone who has written guest posts and accepted guest posts, I think it`s helpful to look for a site with a minimum requirement in terms of appeal and quality to their readers. Most guest post authors create cheap content, either distributing copies from their main sites (syndication) or spinning content in some cases, but often just writing short, very poorly composed articles that obviously have no purpose other than to (supposedly) hide a link. If you want the most benefit from guest posting in my opinion you should think in terms of who would demand the best possible content from you and how you can provide them with something they cannot write for themselves.
