Google Amp for SEO

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if Google Amp help with SEO and is it enough to implement it into my website.

Tim Capper: You wont need AMP for such a small site. If you want to speed up the site think about correcting some of these https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

Cristian Sepulveda: Yes it does. Position 3 or 4 for 6 month, after implement AMP de reach TOP 1. For the next 2 years you should implement AMP. After that se dont know.

Loren Noble: I have my site to a little under 2 seconds. I am just curious if google amp helps ranking in 2017?
Tim Capper: Nope and you may never need it if your page load is under 2 sec, even if you triple the size of the site.
