Fixing duplicate content issues

  Cindy Coughlin: Hello, Awesome SEO information as always.! I work as a gig contractor .. our DA and most PA dropped 2 points ( 63 - 61) over the last few days. We are fixing duplicate content issues ( which is increasing) but I highly doubt that is the reason? We have thousands of backlinks but from low authority sites. great! Main and sub category pages have not been updated in over a year. We are working on beefing up content. Another division launched ( a sister site) - after a few days of their launch our DA and PA dropped. My guess is that didn't have anything to do with it either? My guess - lack of authoritative content. ?? Any thoughts, suggestions. What I should keep on eye on? I would be happy to give the URL in a private message area -if you need it to look at the site.

  Neeraj Pandey: +Cindy Coughlin​ da pa are the quality scores by moz.com and they are completely based on back links. If you have thousands of back links you cant understand which website value has decreased and the same to the link coming to your website. So I would rather say that sometimes do check da pa but they don't directly help in ranking
