  Julio Marquez: Hello guys, i need your suggestion about using another web site API which let me Collect and post the origin web site content talking about my niche into my own site.could this action would be understood by Google as a duplicated content or not ? Thank you  ;

  Tony McCreath: If they are also publishing the same content then yes, its duplicate.
  
  Duplicate content itself is not an issue but I suspect if you website only contains content copied from other websites it will have problems.
  
  Google will most likely show the originals instead of yours, and Panda may get on your ass.

  Julio Marquez: yes Tony , but i seen many web sites offering API to web masters offering them the possibility to use their content and publish it in any web site, for example i plan to make a blog s site talking about seo , and i already found a big brand web site have the same interest and offering API key to grab what they offering in their  ;sites like seo tools , video's or may be content it self.How it would be possible to benefit with this option and the same time avoiding duplication in our web site, it would be  ;little complicated but the question is why brand sites would offering API keys if they know that by using their content in many other sources could harm their ranking ? This is if we take in consideration that brand site have already a big experience about seo and SSM . Thank you ;

  Tony McCreath: Traditionally this is syndication and has been done using RSS feeds for years.
  
  They created the content and have the most chance to gain by having others syndicate it.
  
  For a syndicator the job has got harder. What do you offer to Google that the original or other syndicators do not already offer?

  Tony McCreath: Original content is important. If you can find a way to present the syndicated content in an original way then that may work. ;
  
  It's not just Google. If you can create a destination  ;people want to go to because it offers something special then you could still be on to a winner. ;
