Domain name is different from business name

I have a client whose Domain name is different from their Business Name. How do I optimize key words--the domain name or the business name? (For Local search)Hypothetical:The domain is officespaceatlanta
The business name is THR Executive SuitesDo I make sure that "office space atlanta" is interlinked, or should it be "THR Executive Suites" that is emphasized.

  • Michael Martinez: In the long run they`ll want to be found for both keywords. I think you have to pick one, knock it out of the ballpark, and then switch to the other. Some people would go for both but that`s a tough nut to crack. I guess for me the deciding factor would be how much brand recognition they have and how much more we could build. If there wasn`t much of a brand play early in the campaign then I would probably focus on the generic keyword.
  • Brenda Michelin: thank you for your thoughtful reply. This is a new one for me, so I appreciate the help.
  • Stockbridge Truslow: Use both "Website" (Office Space Atlanta) and "LocalBusiness" (THR Executive Suites) markup. The website schema also allows for an "AlternateName" field which can be set to the business name.

It`s hard to say exactly without knowing a LOT more about this, but it might also be worth branding as something like "Office Space Atlanta by THR Executive Suites".
