Hi Guys, let`s say you have a Ecommerce store which has product pages e.g. domain/t-shirts/product-name. If the product pages have high quality links pointing to them, and let`s say you added a rel canonical tag from that product page to category page, could that help improve the ranking performance of that category page?

No point adding canol if still available, your canol could have unintended consequences on it performance and sales.
