  • David Kutcher: How many products do you have in that e-commerce site? That would be useful to know ;)
  • Gaz Underhill: i surpose i should have asked, should i no follow or noindex my wishlist, contact us page etc..?
  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you have 50 products, and 10 blog posts, then yes, 1, 000 or more pages listed in the site: result is bad. Very bad.
  • Jody Nesbitt: you want those pages linked internally, internal links are a metric that is used as well https://yoast.com/internal-linking-for-seo-why-and-how/ read this, but dont buy into the "upgrade to paid plugin" parts
  • Gregory Dantschotter: I wouldn`t put a noindex on your contact page. That`s needed for local business and search engines are adding value if there`s a contact page available. The wishlist page depends on the content
  • Mike Gracia: I think you need to have a look at what the URLs are, that are being indexed, then go from there. You may have things like canonical issues (hopefully not!) or tag pages or sub archives indexed etc. Really, it depends on what specifically is being indexed.
