A good read about ethics with Pengui

Long, but a good read about ethics with Penguin. Certainly something to rile SEOs up. Jim Munro   Yes, could not agree more but I would have liked to see her explore the possibility that Google seems to have been making u-turns since Matt Cutts bowed out and whether this is happening because it was ultimately realised that many policies were not ethically sustainable.   • Micah Fisher-Kirshner: Long, but a good read about ethics with Penguin. Certainly something to rile SEOs up.

  • Micah Fisher-Kirshner: I dunno... Amit was the one who pushed for machine learning as the way forward with Google search, not sure that is changing any time soon.
  • Jim Munro: As head, I think Amit would have had to OK the path the search quality team was heading down but since he's still there, maybe he realised the situation was untenable and acted to rectify it.
