Subdomain for Store?

I am thinking about adding some niche related Amazon products (via woocommerce etc) to an existing website (news/reviews/interviews/good content). The Amazon `store` would probably look better with its own theme and menu. I am assuming a sub-domain would be the best option for the `store`?. Any comments welcome.

  • Michael Martinez: It doesn`t matter if you use a subdomain or a subfolder. You can isolate the store from the rest of the site or cross-promote the heck out of it. It can use the same theme as the rest of the site or a different one. I have done it both ways for 20 years. All that matters is that you are happy with what you have.
  • Neil Cheesman: For info - Siteground had to reinstall the SLL certificates on both domains on this account and that resolved the issue.
