Spun content on your web-site?

Hi, A blackhat question. Do you think that it is a good idea to use spun content on your web-site? If yes, which one would you recommend? What do you think about the Article Scraper Scrapebox plugin? Will it do the job? How does Google know if the content is spun at all?

Peter Mead: Google has quality guidelines for a reason, its to improve the quality of its results. Quality costs time and money. Is spun content quality? If yes then do an experiment if you think it is adding real value for anybody. You need to see the results of your own experiments so you can see what works.
Peter Mead: Thanks for the interesting history Tim Capper used Lorem Ipsum plenty of times but never knew it was from the 1500s :)
