Root domain canonical question: would it matter if trailing slash is used or not: vs ... .com/"> - the rest of the site defaults to no-slash. Thanks!

  • Richard Hearne: No, slash doesn`t matter in the case of root domain. It does matter for any inner resource on a domain, but not the root page. See: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2616#section-3.2.3 An empty abs_path is equivalent to an abs_path of "/".
