But If you are asking if you can modify your content - yes you can. more them that, you supposed to come back to it time to time and if it needs some updating, you can update it. This will do help to make your blog relevant and seo friendly.
  If you want to modify meta tags like title or description of some page, you also can do it. Especially if you made some check and understand that you need to improve your meta tags. This is also good to do for seo.

  Terre SlanderXander: there are different ways to remove the Blog post Author on my wordpress. Basically, right now all my post say "admin"

  Michael Martinez: I`ve done it both ways. I don`t see any effect on rankings. For some sites I prefer not to show dates. For other sites I do.
