Geo tagging my photos for GMB

Hi guys can someone educate me a little, on Geo tagging my photos for GMB. I read a couple days ago something about google stripping out the geo tags how do i make sure this doesnt happen and what is the best tool to use for geo tagging your images in the first place and any other good practises i should be applying when geo tagging my images.

Tim Capper: They do strip it out in GMB, so dont waste time adding.

Make sure the file name when adding image is descriptive - this is used more to understand the image.

I would also not bother wasting time geo tagging images for the website - many tests have shown that it just does not work BUT make sure your structured data either has Geo Location or hasMAp
