Removing a page from search result

I have an E-commerce website and my main keyword is ranking on a Google SERP with a URL attached to lots of filters in a query string. So I decided to block all query string attached with URLs through robots.txt file. But what`s this screenshot saying?

  • Tim Capper: So Google feels that that URL (even a paramater url) is the best fit for that query. Now that you have txt`s it -Google still wants to display but you are blocking them.

    Did you add a canonicol before going full blown txt
