I`m finding keyword research very difficult

Can anyone give any insight, I`m starting a new blog site, I`m finding keyword research very difficult, I can`t find any with low ranking keywords that have low DA sites ranking for them. The niche is crafts, this is my second site, I had no issues with my first site..
