Ranking drops after updating content

Technical SEO (internal content)hi folk, I have an issue occurs while updating the internal content of my website (like adding sub articles) without changing my keywords, links, slug, etc just internal content, then i fall down in the ranking as if i am on the first page of search results my website fall down to the second page.
just asking for reasonable tips, ideas or thoughts to solve my problem. Thanks!

Tim Capper: Adding internal sub content should not drop your main page down - unless you are causing conflicting signals to Google. (Same content or very similar) chasing the same topic etc etc

Can you please post a link to Parent Page + Child Page, where this happened.
