Page 1 on Yahoo, Page 6 on Google

I have a dumb SEO question that I just cannot figure out.. I have a website that when you type in their name in Yahoo and in Bing you get page 1 first result. But Google, Page 6. Everything I can think of is optimized correctly. Why the BIG difference between Google, Bing and Yahoo?  The search term is "Liberty Ammunition" and the site is libertyammunition.com. I am lost.

  • Jim Munro: I'll come back to this later, Dan, but in the meantime check Google's prohibited products list and consider how that might affect you.
  • Dan Reeves: Thanks for the reply, Jim! I read about that for AdWords Policy. I was not able to find anything about effecting search engine results. ;
    This was what I read for AdWords: ;https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6008942?rd=1#con
  • Marty Eigner: Don't use the anchor text "liberty ammunition" anymore for your links. You have overdone it already and it looks spammy to Google.
  • Bharathi Priya: Hi +Dan Reeves ;,

    The difference between Google compared to other search engines is that, its improving a lot. You can see more and more quality updates coming up. And for all the main keywords, you can see the general trend of search results based on their content quality, latest update and markup. So check for the following factors first.

    -> is it over-optimized?
    -> Too many backlinks built on the same anchor text?
    -> Are you making use of schema markup?
    -> Are you updating your pages frequently?
    -> Are your company page active on google plus?
    -> Are you receiving good reviews and rating from your users?
    -> Is your website good in terms of metrics like avg time on site, bounce rate or exit rates?

    Each and every factor is counted. So you need to monitor your website periodically to get more out of Google.
