No keywords in content

Given the fact that Google always coax on having unique and relevant on-page content, so can a web page rank for a keyword having no mention in the content especially when it`s competing with tier 1 companies. Will building back-links and content marketing be enough? Also by doing so will it fall under negative SEO?

  • Saurabh Rawat: It may be ranked if web page has relevant content. Google can understand synonyms. You will have to work hard if you are only depend on link building and blogging.
    Main keywords should be in meta tag if you want to get top rank...
