I want to know if adding “best” would make any difference

In Google Ads, it always recommends a variation of our keywords with “best.” For example, if I’m targeting the phrase match “dehumidifiers for basements, ” phrase match it will recommend “best dehumidifiers for basements.”If I’m already targeting the first phrase match keyword, wouldn’t it also target the longer tail keyword as well?I want to know if adding “best keyword” would make any difference. Would it be a more competitive ad because it’s more specific to the search term? Or would it create two competing keywords in the same ad group?

  • Josh Levenson: Just adding the search kw wouldn`t make it more competitive. It may open you up to more variations though of search terms. At the end of the day search term is a search term. You`ll be judged on that.
