Michael Martinez: Group expertCrawl depth is much harder to manage on modern Websites and much less likely to be a problem like it was 20 years ago.
Because any page on the site could serve as an entry point for the crawlers, you`re not likely to have many pages that are hard for the crawlers to reach.
More likely pages that aren`t crawled often, or which struggle to get into or remain in the index, may lack sufficient PageRank-like value to be deemed important or they may appear to be low quality content to the algorithms.
