I have been focusing on low competition keywords

Hello, my site has a low domain authority of 10 (according to Semrush) and so I have been focusing on low competition keywords (0-2 KD). However I don`t get traffic, someone said I don`t get traffic because I target keywords of very low competition hence no one is searching for them, and I advised me to try keywords of decent volume ( and this means bigger KD), regardless of my domain authority. Do you think this is a good strategy ? What is the right thing to do? What tactic can a website of low domain authority use to get better traffic?

  • Perry Bernard: Prioritise your topic and the interest of your users no matter what the “kd”. It’s seems you may be trying a subtle technique when you possibly haven’t completed core tasks?

  • Alan Peter: How old is your site..or your URLs?

  • Alan Peter: Also ...what size of a post are you providing compared to your competition? Or are you even giving them the right information? Lots of variables
