How do I market my SEO services?

Ok, my weekly dumb SEO question. How do I market my SEO services? Start up SEO and digital media consultant, currently doing audits of friend`s business`s websites to try to sell them on that but outside of there having a hard time getting interest. Anyone have any strategies they can share? Outside of just trying to get word of mouth out I really haven`t had any good ideas or anything anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

    You could start a blog and write case studies about SEO projects you`ve done.

    You can list yourself on various freelancer platforms.

That is, that SEO for SEO agencies is not a good lead generation strategy. The wise learn from other’s mistakes.Can you get leads from SEO? Ya. But you can also get leads from other things that are much more effective.SEO for SEO agencies is the opposite of the 80/20 rule.

  • Adi Shwartzman: I know thats the name of the group but this one, the q ur asking is not dumb at all. From my experiece is one of the more complicated things in our niche. What ive learnd via spit and blood is not to sell it as SEO all in one package. Divide it to small and more comprahandable products. For example Connecting Analytics & SC is one product, creating content is another, marketing is another and so on...

    That way ur clients will know what product in SEO they are paying up front, and it will be easier to show them results faster.
