  • Mike Cooke: I have removed the root domain out so I am not linking as per rules on the community.
  • Richard Foulkes: 404's are okay to have it you have a relevant 404 page. I normally put no index on catergories as they cause confusion for the page/2 I'd resolve this if I assume they are page 2 of content like a blog roll with lots or pages? Then canonical tags the /phc-blog/
  • Boyan Sabev: If the 404s come froim external links redirect. if from internal links remove or update the links on your site.
  • Edwin Jonk: +Mike Cooke ;thanks for respecting our rules. However can you share your domain?

    P.S. we do allow "linking" as long as the link is not "active", e.g. example(dot)com. ;
  • Mike Cooke: +Edwin Jonk ;thanks for the heads up, the more I have looked at this interesting enough most of the report errors from moz I am getting back are due to duplicate content from wordpress from categories, where a posts is displayed in two categories and classed as duplicate content. I have got Yoast intalled and have set the noindex of subarchives to prevent /page/2/ etc just more interested to see if anyone else has had this issue and if there is a simple way round it.
