How to remove unwanted pages from Google`s cache?

How to remove unwanted pages from Google`s cache for example pages that hacker added which you removed using Removals and added redirects but those pages are still in Google`s cache i.e. cache:url shows the page in Google`s Cache

  • Richard Hearne: One way is to ensure those pages 410, then build an XML sitemap of the URLs with lastmod date 5 mins ago. Then submit that via GSC. Googlebot should crawl those URLs pretty quick and kill off the now-gone pages.
  • Kunjal Chawhan: Richard Hearne what should the sitemap url be? Because .XML and _index.xml are already available via Rankmath can`t disrupt that
  • Richard Hearne: Doesn`t matter. Just so long as Googlebot can access the XML file.
