Help me pick the sites to get backlinks from

If I were to get a backlink from one of these sites, which one would be better for ranking?

DA 30 backlink with 200, 000 monthly traffic

or

DA 60 backlink with 3, 000 monthly traffic

Greg Jensen: Depends on what kind of site you`re trying to rank and if it`s relevant to the backlinked site...
Jason Falls: well yeah, assume they are all niche relevant
Greg Jensen: Jason Falls all things being equal, probably the latter, but I don`t personally view domain authority being a very helpful metric overall, so take that with a grain of salt.
Greg Jensen: Chris AnÃ© this is the unfortunate reality that most SEOs don`t want to hear, but there is no "metric" you can use to compare sites against each other effectively. Domain authority isn`t something that Google or Bing use for ranking. But if it was choosing between getting linked from a high-quality, highly relevant site versus a medium-quality, sort of relevant site, I`d choose relevance and quality 10/10 times.

Vahan Petrosyan: It is Important also a traffic you are going to get from a backlink. Very good Backlink that exists and no one clicks may carry less value.
Kunjal Chawhan: I wouldn`t rely on DA so much. I would see what percent of their content is ranking on page #1 & whether it is specifically aligned to a niche or not (to check topical authority) based on that I`ll determine whether to get a backlink here or not

Eddie Nehani: DA aside, you must look at the website you want to get the backlinks from to see if it fits in the same niche as your site.
So agreed with Kunjal Chawhan. I would go with the site with 3000 monthly traffic, If some of that traffic lands on your site, engage, share what you offer, you will have a better chance to convert, rather than 200, 000 where most of the traffic may be not interested on what you offer! So, analyse the sites carefully. You may also consider the page you link to...think about a landing page. My two cents.
