Do Wikimedia backlinks make any difference? or does it in any way influence the the Google Knowledge Graph?

  • Rienzi Mosqueda: Definitely a tie breaker if your competition dont have it. Well any links is for that matter. Knowledge Graph can be done with structured data
  • Richard Hearne: Wikipedia (and/or its associated data) is most certainly one of the sources Google uses for the KG. Having a wikipedia entry is very beneficial from this POV.
  • Kunjal Chawhan: Richard Hearne true but here specifically I`m talking about Wikimedia cause I have observed it`s easier to generate links there so would this too have a good impact?
  • Richard Hearne: AFAIK wikimedia is also used as a source for KG. But I suspect a wikipedia entry will have more weight.
