Displaying links with a H2

Any thoughts on this: On a Wordpress post about Content A about a news item - a sidebar widget (reviews of other not directly related items) displays links with a H2 - if these are NOT directly related to Content A - would you suggest removing the widget? (or try to look for content that IS directly related)

Alan Bleiweiss: H2s play a minor role in overall SEO, however I live in a world where squeezing out every last drop of reasonable value is worth the effort when it`s a one-time change within template functionality. So don`t bother using `bold` or `strong` on keywords in content. Do look to ensure h2s are relevant to the page they`re on.
