Changing URL without hurting ranking

Hi everyone, I would like to change the url structure of my blog. Right now I have www.mywebsite.com/%category%/%postname%/I would like to simply change back to www.mywebsite.com/%postname% Problem is I`m ranking pretty well on some keywords. I have no idea how to do it without hurting my rankings. Any help, experience, link would be appreciated. cross-posted
