Will the searchable content of a page which on load displays only the search box be indexed and counts towards SEO ranking?

  • Lisa Brown: No, likely not. The content isn`t present in the page until someone performs an action with the search box, the crawlers won`t do that.
  • Morena Fiore-Kirby: Lisa Brown thank you. And having a hidden list on the page wouldn`t work either. OK thanks for confirming 👌
  • Zachary Toto: Morena Fiore-Kirby I`d advise against hidden content on pages. SE bots generally don`t like that. I think it`s a bad idea, not only for SEO, but general usability and experience as well as just bad development and design practice.
