Michael Martinez: Because many people don`t know how or want to work with Shopify. It`s a matter of preference and comfort. Sure, some platforms do things differently - but they have their own limitations.

Adam J. Humphreys: Because Kevin Indig hasn’t worked there long enough yet lol. I would say the pairing of Shopify with 3rd parties is incredibly good and very much worth looking into. To accomplish the same on Woocommerce takes a lot of work but I’ve done it on both.
Kristen Hansen Lowrey: I use the shopify seo tools and my clients sites do very well. You have to know how to do on page seo because shopify doesn’t give you hints like yoast. But Google doesn’t care what platform you use.
Amir Mehmood: Kristen Hansen Lowrey Can you help me what major things we can do to rank best. Like 1.5 keyword density, keyword in title, seo title, keyword in url, keyword in meta description. Image alt, backlinks, sitemap submission, Google analytics and what other?
Adam J. Humphreys: Amir Mehmood keyword density is not a thing. People search for specific items and yes having the keywords on page matters. Google is a query engine that matches people with their queries. Think about answering those questions the best not just stuffing keywords. Title and once in content with maybe synonyms if there’s cause for it. Google is fairly decent at identifying. Do not have identical title, header when you can have a synonym in there unless it’s a really specific item only referred basically one way.

Kristian Breslin: Don’t believe all you read, I have got number one rankings on google for leading industry keywords. It’s not actually what platform in my opinion it’s weather you can actually do the work to the standard required to get your results

Kristian Breslin: Amir Mehmood , I can’t set you a full sorry it’s to time consuming for an in depth assessment my apologies however I will give you a couple of very worthy tips, if you have a google ads account use the keyword tool put in your competitors website address, you can then export all there key words into a spreadsheet, do this with 4 o5 of the leading company’s in your field, colour code the batches of keywords and then data sort them in alphabetical order, you now have a list of pre researched terms that the leading company’s have spent money on testing and getting good results in, using these terms as h1 and h2 tags/headings, write some blogs making sure you use the same keywords amongst you paragraph underneath. Once you have created the page then advertise your blog on face to your target market, and other socials like Pinterest insta, link the advert to your blog page, this will begin to get traction as people visit it and hopefully they will start going up. Research what a rank tracker is so you can track the development and standing on the search engines.
Kristian Breslin: The second tip is from a different perspective I use a page builder which is brilliant called pagefly, it’s important to understand how to size your images, compression, lazy loading, navigation options such mobile back to the top functions, anchors links to other pages, breadcrumbs. And personally I love schema codes and so do search engines, so that’s some of the basics to get you walking in the right direction

Honestly, when you`re an expert, you can rank anything or any platform.
You`re boxing yourself if you`re struggling by the name. My suggestion, is to go to YouTube, find a few decent channels that teaches beginner SEO.
Learn it, become familiar with it. Translate what you can into ecommerce SEO, I`m sure there are videos on that as well, and then you will have a great answer to this question once you`ve done all of that.
Izabela Wiśniewska: I personally wouldn`t agree, its not because you are not good at SEO, and we shouldnt say it like `shopify is bad for SEO` but it is harder to acomplish some things due to shopify defult settings and limitations that are not great from SEO perspective - great example was non editable robots.txt, however this one has been changed by shopify recently and now web ownners have control over robots file:) it is possible to rank a website build on shopify but in my opinion you need a dev support or a dev knowledge and sometimes some non standart approach I have done few talks on it on industry conferences, happy to share links if you`d like to see it good luck!
