Starting a link building campaig

Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some advice. I started working at my friends company in the Sign Writing/ Printing niche, around the beginning of October last year. One of my roles has been to work on the website and SEO to improve search visibility.I am now trying to post content regularly through Facebook and GMB and have been reaching out to customers to get reviews on FB and Google. I would now like to start a link building campaign but don`t have much experience in this area. Can anyone recommend what types of link I should be acquiring and the best places to get them. I`ve taken a look at what Fiverr has to offer but not sure if this is considered black hat and I am risking a manual penalty.

Michael Martinez: I would think long and hard before putting all that work at risk with a link building campaign. If you don`t know how to do it then you`re not ready to do it, and reading how to do it on the Web is akin to learning how to set yourself on fire with a lighter and a bottle of kerosene.
Brenda Michelin: If you have not already, concentrate on putting really good, comprehensive schema on the site. Not just the ordinary microdata crap like WebPage, Breadcrumbs, etc., but really good Local Schema.
Rishi Lakhani: Stay AWAY from fiverr links.
Read up some basic guides on link building first, there are plenty out there
Tim Capper: Instead of linkbuilding, I would personally focus on finding out what your potential customers search for online to find a product - create copy to engage with them during the purchasing funnel.
