Should I make store live with part -duplicate content?

I am currently working on a Ecommerce site. I have uploaded the products and products descriptions from my dropshipper. I know google will penalize for duplicate content. My question : I have been changing the product descriptions daily with original content (20/day), will this affect me being that my site still has on duplicate content? If so what is the best way to do this, should I not make the store live and wait until all the work ( new content) is done? Thanks?
