SEO - squarespace site or etsy shop?

Let`s say a small apparel company has an etsy shop and a squarespace ecommerce site. Would it be better to consolidate both into their squarespace site or etsy shop?

David Kutcher: Why must you consolidate? If you have existing brand equity in the existing locations, keep them there (this is more for the Etsy side of things). Regarding the squarespace site, move it to either self-hosted WP/WooCommerce or Shopify (but under your own primary domain in both cases).
