Landing page to increase conversions

If a website has a link in main menu to subdomain which is landing page to increase conversions, is this a problem and should we either switch to main site or noindex page?

Steve Wiideman: If it`s duplicate if another page targeting the same array of search terms, noindex. I can`t imagine why a subdomain would be an issue if you`re linking to if from the homepage and linking back to root from the sub.
