Removing URLs from a sitemap file

How do you remove URLs from a sitemap file? For example if you delete certain URLS, how do you reflect this/update it in your sitemap file? Our sitemaps are automatically generated/updated via a plugin on the website.

Hasan Deniz: You don't need to delete the page if you want them to be excluded from the sitemap. Yoast seo plugin has exclude feature.
