Ranking in the Google Local listings

  Valentina Huff: Why would a Google My Business page not rank in the Google Local listings? One I have in mind has lots of Google reviews, pictures, and a very thorough profile. Any ideas why it's not ranking in local?

  Ryan Cramer: Is it not showing at the top of local listing or not at all? I've had more clients than I care to admit fail to provide the postcard pin, and so, were never verified so never on the list.
  
  If that is not the case, you may need to verify that the business address, phone number, and other contact information is consistent throughout the internet.
  
  Additionally, there was a huge change in Google local search in the beginning of December ( you'll notice you cannot filter serps by location anymore ), but I am uncertain of all the ways that effects local placement. Anyone?

  Valentina Huff: Correct, the local pack in Google. This local page doesn't rank in there at all. The only thing I can think of is that we have a tracking phone number on the website that's different from the one in local. But I find that hard to believe considering tons of companies have trackable numbers on their websites now and don't seem to have this issue. +Ryan Cramer ;+Juchel De Leon ;

  Juchel De Leon: Its really hard to get into 3 local pack. But with our recent study and findings. We created a geo targeted website then we bought an address as well as a phone number within that location. We created a page for the local listing of google. Submit it and we verified. After that we submitted our listing to different directory site. Maybe 2 to 3 weeks we got some results,we saw our listing in the 3 local pack of google serp. But it fluctuate. Thats why we keep an eye on it. We didn't do other marketing strat. Yet. Just the local listing submission..
