My website traffic has dropped by half

  Siew Wah: Hi, everyone. One of my website traffic has dropped by half since March 1 and have no idea on what has caused it. Does anyone know if there is any change in google algorithm/other reasons that may have caused this? stressed out

  It's OK to provide a link to your site providing you disable it like this: domain(dot)com.
  
  It's up to you whether you provide this or not but it is hard to imagine solutions without a site to look at.

  2. And your homepage is very heavy having so much internal links. Homepage should be clean and be very specific. ;
  
  3. And ask the developer why he has put so many (50+) H1 tags. Only the page title (1 no,) should be H1, change others to H2 and h3 tags.
  
  4. You have a lot of inbound links but they are from only some domains. do try to earn more link from different domains. Several links from one domain is not of so much importance.

  Jim Munro: I am not an expert but I think your backlinks are bad, +Siew Wah ;. According to +SEMrush ;, 122K of your 129K backlinks come from secretchina(dot)com. All of these come from a footer link "English"but your page is not the English version of the secretchina page. This is Penguin bait. 925 of your other links come from alltop(d0t)com and every one of them has exact match anchor text matching the title of your landing page. This is very bad and that's as far as I looked. If you don't have a manual penalty I think the best you can do is disavow the unnatural followed links and wait. ;

  K Neeraj Kayastha: There are many tools but siteexplorer of Moz i use. And also i give attention to my webmasters links to your site section.
  Initially i don't care about follow or nofollow inbound links because they are scarce. Do give attention number of links from one domain.

  We added our feed to alltop some time ago and did get some traffic there but no idea that it would affect so much. Thanks for your advice again.
