  • Michael Martinez: There never was a Google Sandbox, in the sense of some kind of waiting period for Websites. It was more of an unintended effect, according to Googlers who were willing to discuss it.That was back in 2004. The search engine has been completely redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up several times since then.It takes time for the algorithms to assess new content. The best thing you can do is add content to the site that is truly useful, informative, and helpful and then share your site on social media.
  • Faraz Ahmed: Michael Martinez You`re saying add more content to the site. So should I make a separate blog section to upload more useful content from time to time?Because according to me website doesn`t need more pages. The website is about POS Software and Hardware. This is my friend`s client`s website.
  • Michael Martinez: Faraz Ahmed If you feel that non-bloggy content is sufficient AND if you feel a blog allows for the opportunity to add value to what visitors find on the site, then add more content.Otherwise, your friend will need to build brand value to stimulate interest from potential customers. There are plenty of channels to do that.
  • Ammon Johns: As Michael Martinez says, not only is it not in effect now, there never was one. Whatever source of SEO info you`ve been reading, it isn`t a good one. Knowing that may help you find one that perhaps has some actual facts and info.
  • Wayne Cadman: In addition to this get citations done for your website to give this some authority. Perhaps do a Google stack too, this all helps if you`re looking to rank locally
  • Ash Nallawalla: For POS software and hardware you need to find some angle to make the pages rank high. Is that site the manufacturer, or just one of dozens of resellers? Or is it a major wholesaler? A random suburban reseller would have to work extra hard to rank high, but adding location markers will allow it to rank for location based searches. Are any such keywords in the list that is checked?
  • Bolaplay Us: How about "keyword sandboxing", did anyone noticed?
