How long should it take Google to figure out that the address has changed?

Google My Business question. I don`t do much with local SEO so this it out of my league.The default business listing for a home-based business has a very old address. There is no chance of receiving a post card from Google for verification. The business is registered with the state government and the registration info has the current address.The GMB account has the correct phone number.Google is aware of the business` official Website, which has the correct address and phone number.How long should it take Google to figure out that the address has changed, even though it didn`t update the address after the last move and registration change? Will it ever happen? Is it better to use the contact form?The business doesn`t rely on leads from GMB. It`s not relevant to the business model. But the GMB listing is wrong.

Melissa Baroni: If you claim the listing, you may be able to verify using the correct phone number. If not, support can help you verify via other methods if needed.
Mary Ennis: Melissa Baroni is right, go through support. Matching my business page and web site info is one factor in local SEO. Google won`t update the my business listing profile.
Michael Martinez: Thanks. The listing is claimed. I guess I should have mentioned that. I guess it`s time to go the support route.But I was under the impression GMB`s support team had closed down? Or is it they`re just not taking phone calls?
Tim Capper: 1) Request ownership transfer - if you say verified but owner has forgotten access2) Once access granted - correct address - Set to SAB (if still home address) - request verificationIn the mean time you can suggest edit to correct address from Maps - but if new address is also home, it should be SAB
Usama Sheikh: There is no other thing to do if you have gmb access and google is not verify address or update your info. You need to contact them through GMB reinstatement form.
