Dave Elliott: Annoyingly the answer is it depends. Google is getting a lot better at indexing java script(it will down weight any content that isn't visible on the page at load though) but i was working on a site this week where the expanded bit wasn't being indexed at all by Google.

I would test. Grab a sentance or two that appears in the expanded table, put it into Google and and see if your page comes up!
