  • ?ukasz Rogala: If you have fresh website with newly created and published content - it sometimes takes more time to gain authority to it. In fact website you have submitted your links already are (more or less) authorities in your niche.

In fact you can still gain benefits from that situation - if you are publishing content on well known websites you can gain some nice referral traffic to your website.

Also it's important to submit links with unique content - not copy paste from your website.
  • Ryan Cramer: Oh! how I missed the "Google Dance"!

The first step of the Google Dance is the age of the website.  ;If it is new, you may get placement based off of initial indexing of your pages.

The second "step" in the dance... more accurately the second wave of indexing, will depend on the value of your content. If it is duplicate, thin, or not relative you will have a drop.  ;If it is unique, informative and relates to your initially indexed keywords, you may experience a temporary drop while your website is being re-assessed.

If your pages abide by the guidelines, the "Google Dance" refers to where they are changing the algorithm.  ;It could be based on industry or techniques that you are depending on.  ;Most of the time, if you are doing the right things, you simply need to wait out the dance.
  • Chase Reiner: Keep creating great content around your subject and make sure to interlink between posts, share through social, and use SEO best practices to rank your content. The rest will come with time.
