Google WMT Structured Data sectio

In webmaster tools under the Structured Data section, I am seeing several hundred items with Errors for one website. It seems strange that it`s saying there are several hundred items with errors because we do not have several hundred schema items implemented on the site, only a few. What exactly does this mean and how bad is this from an SEO point of view? Can ranking be negatively affected?

Neeraj Pandey: Hi Valentina,
In search console, there will also be written what type of error these pages are throwing or you can check your live pages in schema testing tool. If the tool is saying no error detected it means you don't need to worry about it.
As far as, ranking is considered, Google does not take action on your website ranking for schema issues, But it removes all your schema if it finds you manipulating it still I would suggest you to take care of this error. In case you cant identify and solve this error, please share your url here.
Chase Reiner: You may have a lot of errors because it's the same or multiple Schema problem on every page.
