I have a couple of keywords doing the boomerang

Hello everyoneI have a couple of keywords doing the boomerang lolOne day in position 49/50 and then the next day back to 100, and again up and down like a yo-yo.I use semrush for monitoring theseWhat would you do to make these keywords firstly hold their position but more importantly start climbing the ranking?Should I make some posts around these keywords? And do internal linking etc (all of the things I can directly influence)I understand that external links are needed too but will get on that when I get some stability from my onpageThanks all for any suggestions

Christine Hansen: Would you say, that your "boomerang"-keywords are main/head keywords and therefore very important? You could do clusters, - finding your most important pages that do really well and that include your main keywords. Then have `supporting pages` link to the `important pages` with _other_ keywords. But it all depends on your serp stats and GSC.
Jason Wells: Yes they are some of my main keywords, clusters now that`s a new one on me, will have to investigate what they are
