YOUR ANSWERS

Selected answers from the Dumb SEO Questions Facebook & G+ community.

  • Michael Martinez: You don`t designate something as "long tail".The long tail of search consists of the vast majority of search queries, whose monthly volume is very low. There is no single, universally accepted threshold for how low the volume must be before the query is considered "long tail", but some Google teams use 10 searches over a 90-day period.
  • Perry Bernard: It is unnecessary to highlight long tail keywords any other way than shorter ones, other than through the usual SEO practices.
