How do you guys schedule content posting?

Content Schedule:
How do you guys schedule content posting?
Was reading a popular marketer`s blog and he said "Google don`t like fix schedule"
Some says to ready & publish atleast 25 articles when launching site/blog.
Some says to publish 70% of content at start/when launching.
Lets assume we post most of the articles e.g 150 at the very start/1st month is it going to create any problem? (E.g G sandbox - G thinking I am going to game system)
Which content schedule do you follow that is successful or advise to follow?
I mean what`s the right approach.
I am getting mix response on this question so highly confused

  • Michael Martinez: "Google don`t like fix schedule"

    Ridiculous. Google doesn`t care.
  • Malik Yousaf: Don`t want to name, A popular marketer said this & explained Google would be thinking its a spam / auto feed site
  • Michael Martinez: Malik Yousaf I couldn`t care less who it was. He`s wrong.
  • Malik Yousaf: Got it..
And what do think about or have opinion about Google sandbox?
  • Michael Martinez: Malik Yousaf There was never a "Google Sandbox".

There was - and possibly might still be - a "sandbox effect", confirmed by Google to apply to some sites, but it was an unforeseen, unintended secondary consequence of one of their algorithms from 2004.

The entire system has been completely rewritten several times since then.

On the other hand, there are still filtering algorithms in place today - and scoring processes - that would create a similar effect. But it`s not based on how fast or slow you publish content. The search engine`s assessment of a site will change as it crawls the site and the site`s backlinks, but those crawls are managed on the basis of other criteria.
  • Malik Yousaf: If I am having 150 posts (lets say they are major posts) ready in my hand should I publish them altogether when launching site or post 20-30 per month with fix schedule.
I have a doubt that if i publish 150 posts it somehow will give signal to google that I am going to game them/spam etc
  • Michael Martinez: Malik Yousaf Googler John Mueller has advised people that if they have that much content the sooner they get it into the index the sooner Google`s algorithms can assess it.

That said, if the content was only created for Google then its chances of doing much are probably not good.

On the other hand, if the content isn`t timely and it`s really intended for people to read, no one is going to read 150 blog posts in one sitting. So think about your RSS and social media audience, who are more likely to appreciate a drip publication schedule than a massive burst.
  • Malik Yousaf: I understand that.
Its going to be on new site with no audience, otherwise I know it would be really bad to throw a burst of 150 posts at audience 😁
  • Michael Martinez: Malik Yousaf Well, when I start a new site with Posts I still prefer to schedule them over time. It gives me a chance to see how people react to the content and make adjustments. But you can always go back and change whatever you`ve already published. In fact, I still edit articles I published years ago.

So it`s really a matter of personal preference. There is no SEO advantage to doing it either way. But you may have some advantages in doing it one way or the other based on how you produce and manage content.
