Google updates the search quality rating guidelines
A brand new version of the Google Quality Rater Guidelines has been released and it shrunk from 160 pages to 146 pages.
You can view the full version of the doc here: http://tgcafe.it/1PRxwTh
+Jennifer Slegg did a great job going through all the changes between the version published in November and the updated one that was published last week.
While you should read Jennifer`s entire post http://tgcafe.it/1Mbs2Ec, here`s the Skinny version of the changes:
♨ De-emphasis of supplementary content
♨ Renewed emphasis on local, which Google has renamed to “Visit-in-Person” in these updated guidelines.
♨ More emphasis on the role of Your Money Your Life and E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)
♨ Mobile is still pretty important.
Again, you should read Jennifer`s post http://tgcafe.it/1Mbs2Ec to learn more about the changes.
